If you want a gun for self protection, but are not sure what to buy, then try out seven (7) different handguns, shotguns, and rifles in a range-only course. You may be surprised to learn what works best for you. No classroom time required. Prerequisite course is Firearms 101 or higher level course, such as CCW or an NRA Firearms Safety Course. We will accept training certificates from most other firearms training schools. Exceptions may apply, so please call us for details.

Note: Due to maintenance / downtime, the menu is always subject to change. There will, however, always be at least (7) firearms to choose from. Call us to inquire about availability, if you have something particular in mind that you would like to try out.

How to sign up for "Choose Your Weapon"

1. Check our class calendar. We run specialty courses like "Choose Your Weapon on "Open Class Days" and on "Range Days." Give us enough advance notice - five days will suffice - and we will assign the day to the class of your choosing.

2. Due to the extra logistics and security required to run this course, we require full payment in advance. Call 775 842 6409 to pay by credit card to reserve your slot. NOTE: Payments and deposits for classes are not refundable and may only be applied toward a future class of equal or greater value. If you do not agree to this condition, please do not sign up.

3. All participants must be legally able to possess firearms and ammunition in Nevada.

4. We will email a map, directions, and safety equipment list to you upon payment.

5. This class begins and ends at the range and runs for approx 3 hours. Starting time will vary depending on a variety of conditions, including number of participants, types of courses being run, weather, etc...

DO NOT BRING YOUR LOADED GUNS ONTO THE RANGE. CLEAR ALL
GUNS BEFORE ARRIVING. (Exception: CCW permit holders carrying concealed)

PETS AND INFANTS MUST REMAIN IN YOUR VEHICLE DURING LIVE FIRE. OUR RANGE SAFETY OFFICERS MUST BE ABLE TO FOCUS ON THE STUDENTS, AND CANNOT AFFORD DISTRACTIONS. WE TAKE SAFETY SERIOUSLY SO THAT WE CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH A SAFE & ENJOYABLE LEARNING EXPERIENCE.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. NO SURPRISE GUESTS, PLEASE.

ARMED RANGE SAFETY PERSONNEL ARE ON DUTY AT ALL TIMES.

NO ONE WHO WE BELIEVE POSES A SAFETY RISK WILL BE ALLOWED TO HANDLE FIREARMS.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE.
